Jean-Christophe Bonfils originally trained in tax and business law. Since setting up the firm in 2006, taking over from Maître Blagny, he has acted in many areas of law.

Professional experience
Jean Christophe BONFILS has had an unusual career path. He started as a dog trainer and was from 1990 to 1997 manager of a company located in Nice which included a dog training centre, a dog grooming parlour as well as a leather saddle-making manufacture.
He developed his dog training activity in the world of entertainment (music hall, movie) and also dog dressage competitions, before undertaking law studies at the age of 27.
He came to Dijon to complete his Master’s Degree in tax law, was then admitted to the Bar and started as an associate with “Legi Conseil Bourgogne”.
He further developed his clientele and created in 2006 the Cabinet BONFILS ,located in the offices of Paul Blagny , now retired, one of his former supervisor during his practical traineeship as a lawyer .
Jean Christophe BONFILS has expanded his areas of competence to Criminal Law , Social Law , Victim’s compensation, Real Estate , Probate and Succession as well as Public Law . He regularly intervenes to defend inmates’ rights.
He speaks English fluently.
